On October 10, 2025, 20 personnel from the Office of the Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlungsod (OSSP) attended the “Thank GAD It’s Friday” Orientation held at the Quezon City Experience (Q.C.X). The event featured a transformative Gender and Development (GAD) Orientation Seminar initiated by the Quezon City GAD Council.

Invited speakers who made the seminar insightful, engaging, and impactful included Dr. Sandra S. Sanchez, RN, EnP Mx. Vince Liban, and Ms. Jacqueline S. Llames, MPA.

From discussions on Gender Sensitivity and SOGIESC to the Safe Spaces Act and CODI protocols, the team deepened its commitment to fostering safer and more inclusive workplaces—aligned with CSC Memorandum Circular Nos. 12 (s. 2020) and 18 (s. 2021).

A big thanks to the Quezon City GAD Council for hosting this vital initiative! The OSSP remains committed to championing inclusivity and applying these valuable insights in the workplace.
